School Speech Pathologist (SLP) – Ontario, CA

We are currently seeking a compassionate Speech Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you play a key role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to children. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at a school setting helping children with communication and language disorders.

Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in team meetings, parent conferences, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the overall educational plan.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations & assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results using your expertise as a speech language pathologist
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support staff to integrate therapy goals into the student’s overall educational plan.
  • Regularly monitor and document the progress of students receiving speech-language services.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing communication with stakeholders.
  • Generate detailed progress reports to inform parents, teachers, and administrators about students’ achievements and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or speech pathology
  • Speech Language Pathologist / SLP License & or RPE License
  • ASHA certification is preferred
