About us:
At Speech Improvement Center, we will evaluate each individual to determine strengths and weaknesses, address family concerns, and develop an individual treatment plan that will incorporate the most adequate therapy approach and techniques for that client. In addition to addressing the client’s needs, we will educate the families on the techniques that are utilized during each session, additionally providing ideas of carryover through daily activities. Treatment is provided through play-based, child centered, family friendly approaches.
Come join our team of experienced caring professionals. We have an immediate opening for a Speech Language Pathologist(SLP) to work full or part time work. We offer varied and flexible positions in Early Intervention schools and a Clinical Setting. We serve children with a variety of disabilities and delays including
- Apraxia
- ASD
- articulation deficits
- CP
- Down Syndrome
- and speech and language delays.
Qualifications

If interested, you must provide the following qualifications: Minimum Qualification Requirements for SLPA position:Graduate of SLPA program

Minimum Qualification Requirements for SLP position:Completion of ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)

Graduate of accredited speech-language pathology program: masters or doctorate degree in speech-language pathology
Additional Requirements:
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications: Word, Excel, Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of email and office equipment (fax, phone, copier, computers, scanner, etc.). Current CPR certification

Must be able to work as part of a team and have demonstrated professional communication with clients, staff and associated schools and businesses
