Setting: School Based Speech Language Downey | We also have clinic positions available if interested!

As an SLP in this role, you will work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and parents to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in elementary school-aged children. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic success by supporting their communication skills and fostering a positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or speech pathology
• Valid CA Speech Language Pathologist / SLP License
• Prior school experience preferred but not required
• ASHA certification is preferred 

Responsibilities:

• Work in a school setting (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Conduct evaluations and therapy sessions
• Collaborate with school staff, administrators, teachers, and sometimes parents.
• Conduct IEE & IEP assessments as needed
